This year’s IFRS symposium is now over, and it was very successful. We met a lot of customers, new associates and colleagues in the industry and discussed system support, accounting issues and future challenges. Our booth was well-attended throughout the day, and it gave us many interesting insights and ideas.
At the symposium there were six different in-depth lectures, one of which was held by our own Ola Nordahl. His lecture was the most visited of all six, which of course was nice. Ola’s topic was “Practical experience prior to implementation of IFRS 16” where he shared some of the challenges that groups adopting IFRS standards may be facing regarding the new upcoming rules for IFRS 16.
In addition to Ola Nordahl, AARO Systems was represented by Dan Hellum, Peter Sohlén and Ida Lindberg during the symposium.
