AARO25
Starting from AARO25 we release AARO Security & Audit, our new logging tool replacing the old AARO Logger. In the first version of the product the development focus has been on Security (defined as user events such as sign in/sign offs and logs related to user access administration), system management changes (such as edit accounts, edit periods, edit dimensions etc.) and data entry changes (changes to data entry input accounts).
AARO Lease IFRS16 now supports configuration of two share dimensions. We have also made some clarifications of headers in the Excel import/export template which will require a new import template to be used for future imports.
In AARO functionality, we want to highlight a step taken to improve the user experience in reports. We have removed the preferred selection memory (last selected value) for Period and Time Series when used as parameters. Now, the saved period(-s) or the current period settings for Time Series are applied instead.
Solved known issues in AARO25.0.2.
AARO25.0.2.
Dates displayed in Past Equity and Excess Value tabs depend on the local time zone.
Issue: Dates displayed in Past Equity and Excess Value tabs depend on the local time zone. When saving an entry, the entered date may change upon save. Dates are saved correctly but may displayed incorrectly when the local time zone differs in several hours.
Release note: Now dates are displayed as saved independent of the local time zone.

AARO Excel add-in 32 bit login dialog does not work when another AARO Windows client application is running from the same installation folder.
Issue: AARO Excel add-in 32-bit login dialog does not work when another AARO Windows client application is running from the same installation folder. The login dialog in the Office add-in either flashes and disappears or shows a blank screen.
Release note: Now all Windows client applications can run from one installation folder. After upgrading to the version you may notice that previously saved logins are cleared in login dialogs in AARO Windows client applications.

Minority OB adjustment logic shows incorrect result on the subgroup level when the subgroup is changed.
Issue: When the legal subgroup is changed for a company (for example, a mother company is divested internally) then the TOTAL MinorityOBAdj journal is generated causing a duplicated value of the minority for the new subgroup. It is correct on the total group level.
Release note: From version 25 Direct Minorities (DM) are moved and presented on flow/this year change accounts in the new subgroup instead of OB accounts. All other legal types are presented on the OB accounts as before. Indirect minorities (IM) are never adjusted by the system and must always be manually handled with a journal on a flow or OB account as before.

Current Period is not applied in reports.
Issue: We have a regression in AARO 24.X versions where the Current Period setting is not applied when expected when opening a report. The Current period settings for Year and Period Index is supposed to apply on the Period (Time Series) in reports where Period (Time Series) does not have selection lists (not use as parameter) and the report is configured with Relative periods checked when opening the report in Reports and for the report when used on Dashboard.
Release note: Current Period by Year and Period index set up in Edit Periods is now applied in the following cases:
In reports without selection lists and relative periods set. This functionality was broken in AARO24.
In reports with a relative period set also with selection lists. Current Period replaces the former preferred selection memory that is removed now, see ref 13124.

User restriction on Form does not work in reports.
Issue: User restriction on Form does not work in reports. The user can see figures on any form regardless of the restriction.
Release note: If you used the workaround and changed user restrictions from Form to Code, now you can change restrictions back to Form.
